LOCAL PLANNING
Turning Local Stories Into Shared Experiences
We discover the distinctive stories, people and cultural resources of each region, then transform them into tourism experiences that connect visitors with local communities.
Planning That Begins With the Region
Discover Local Value
We identify the stories, spaces, food, culture and people that make each region distinctive.
Connect Local People
We work with residents, merchants, artists, local organizations and public partners to build a workable structure.
Create Local Experiences
We transform regional resources into tours, performances, food programs, festivals and participatory travel experiences.
How We Build Local Tourism
Listen
We begin by understanding the purpose of the project, the characteristics of the place and the voices of local stakeholders.
Research
We examine regional resources, target audiences, operating conditions and the relationships between local spaces and people.
Co-Create
We connect public agencies, residents, merchants, artists and participants to develop a practical content structure.
Operate
We test and refine the plan through direct field operation, responding to participants and local conditions.
Archive
We document the process and results so that the experience can remain as an asset for future regional projects.

Our Principles
People First
We begin with the people who live, work and participate in the region.
Rooted in Place
Every project is developed from the history, culture and everyday character of its location.
Built in the Field
We refine each plan through direct operation, participant feedback and local conditions.
Growing Together
We value long-term relationships and shared growth over one-time results.
